Online technical English tuition - details
My one-to-one online training is split into phases with each phase covering 20 lessons.
Each lesson takes around 30 minutes to complete and consists of a lecture or exercise for the lesson topic,
or a Skype discussion, ending with helpful, written feedback from the tutor about your answers and conversations.
The phases can continue at a particular level or increase in intensity according to your wishes.
You may prefer to dwell on a particular aspect to ensure you really understand it or you may simply prefer
to speak more over Skype. It is up to you and I to develop a plan but I do recommend
that phase one is completed first, then you can tailor further phases to your personal tastes.
Payment for our online training is made in advance for each phase of 20 lessons or if you prefer to tailor your training,
then for a specific number of hours after phase one is completed.
phase one covers:
- A review of your English with a short written check test.
- Important aspects of general and technical grammar.
- Analysing audio broadcasts, video clips, texts.
- Writing technical reports.
- Student specific vocabulary building.
- Student specific Skype conversations.
- A review test of the phase.
